With most of us in Southern California having received record breaking rainfall over the past few days, we thought it only appropriate to offer up the Top Ten Rainy Day Survival Wines from our Top Ten Team:

2. Fran P, General Manager – "I love Blanc de Blanc – This sparkling wine can turn a rainy day inside out. Everyone likes bubbles. Bubbles make us happy and who doesn′t like a bubble bath on a rainy day?"
3. Katie C., Wine Club Manager – 2006 South Coast Winery Zinfandel – "This wine is made from the old vines found in Rancho Cucamonga. Since I grew there, it reminds me of summer fun."
4. Tammie S, Gift Shoppe Cashier – South Coast Winery Tempranillo, and White Chocolate and with fresh raspberries – I discovered this one day accidentally, and what a surprise. The wine is nice, medium bodied with smooth tannins, and I melted white chocolate chips and dipped raspberries into it. What rain?"

I love its smooth, full body with bold fruit action – that plus the proceeds from the sale of this wine will be donated to support a global cause that is important to me."
10. Tasting Room Guests – Steen J. chose the Carter Estate Syrah because it’s "a very smooth, well-rounded wine with spicy notes that are perfect for warming up by the fireplace on a rainy day. Ingrid M., another Tasting Room Guest selected Black Jack Port because it gave her a warm cozy feeling, plus she liked the small chocolates that are served with it.
